ABOUT WES —
Wes Putnam is a certified personal trainer, certified nutrition coach, and certified bodybuilding and physique coach. He works with professionals and entrepreneurs who want a realistic, sustainable approach to building strength and improving their body composition.
His coaching philosophy was shaped not only by his professional training, but by his own health journey.
For many years Wes pushed his body hard while working in high-performance environments, often relying on caffeine and stimulants to maintain intense schedules.
During that time he was featured on the cover of a fitness magazine and appeared in fitness and fashion advertisements.
Over time, however, this approach led to significant health challenges that forced him to step back and rebuild his relationship with training, recovery, and long-term health.
Instead of pushing through exhaustion, he began rebuilding from the ground up: walking, basic strength movements, and gradually restoring energy, strength, and consistency.
That experience now informs the philosophy behind Unicorn Fitness.
Rather than relying on short bursts of motivation or extreme dieting, Wes helps clients build intelligent training habits, develop strength progressively, and create a relationship with fitness that can last for years.
In addition to fitness coaching, Wes has extensive experience in transformational and performance coaching. This allows the work to address not only training and nutrition, but also the mental patterns that often derail progress: all-or-nothing thinking, impatience with results, and the tendency to abandon routines when life becomes busy.
The goal is simple: help clients become stronger, feel confident in their bodies, and build health and fitness habits that actually last.

12-MONTH COMMITMENT

Twelve months allows strength, habits, and body composition changes to fully stabilize. Most clients find the second half of the year is where consistency becomes natural.
